Hi, my name is Misha McNair. Since my youth, I've been fascinated by what makes people tick. This curiosity led to my education in psychology followed by extensive training in yoga, meditation, and trauma-informed approaches to wellness. I was able to round out my experience in the industry by supporting the growth of a yoga studio before I left California and moved out East.
I believe the key to freedom and joy lies in honoring our truth and taking full accountability for the life we lead. The practice of yoga and the 12 steps are how I do this and I love sharing these tools and teachings with others.
Liberation is possible through leaning into the grit of life, learning to self-resource, and finding levity where possible. I'm ready to be in the grit with you, prepared to hold the mirror and continuously ask you to check back in with your greatest teacher and ally...YOU.
“When I take Misha’s class, I feel like I am being held in a safe container to experience whatever shows up on my mat. Her energy is grounded, raw, and relatable. She has a unique blend of wisdom and humor that keep me present and gives me permission to get messy and discover the deeper layers ready to be released in a way that is profound and gentle.“ – Kara Potts
As a yoga teacher, it's important to acknowledge, I stand for honoring the roots of yoga. I honor all 8 limbs of the yogic path, not just in sharing the teachings, but on the business side of the industry as well. It is an absolute privilege to be able to share this ancient practice with students, teachers, and business owners. I show my commitment by continuously investing in my education and practicing daily in all my affairs. I remain teachable and willing to admit when I mess up, overstep, or appropriate. It is of the utmost importance to me to create safer spaces for all people while continuing to share the practice of yoga in an ethical and authentic manner.
